As such, we are seeking an exceptional leader who can not only lead but truly act like an owner as you set the business upon its path to success.

What you'll own

  • Offer AML/CTF advice to internal departments aligning with the business model, aiding in understanding and integration of compliance requirements into operational processes
  • Assist in the review and updating of AML/CTF and Sanctions policies and programs to keep the business aligned with emerging risks and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with Legal, Risk Management, Compliance and other Business unties to identify and alleviate AML/CTF risks and respond to potential issues or incidents promptly.
  • Contribute to regular reports on AML/CTF compliance activities to the AML officer, highlighting key findings, achievements and areas that requiring attention.
  • Enhance Payrix compliance management framework, including compliance obligation reviews and regulatory change impact assessment
  • Perform compliance deep-dives to identify gaps and areas for improvement
  • Assist with statutory and regulatory report preparation, management and Board reporting
  • Handle third-party information requests, respond to regulatory notices, and inquires.
  • Assist in creating training materials and guidance aligned with internal compliance framework and activities
  • Undertake other ad hoc assignments as required.

What you bring
  • Strong understanding of the financial services and regulatory landscapes
  • Proven experience in compliance roles within financial services, ideally in Payment solutions
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • General knowledge of financial and/or payment solutions technology including systems, applications and banking practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and program-solving skills, and the ability to influence and negotiate outcomes effectively
  • Ability to establish credibility and foster a positive compliance culture
