This is an on-site role open to candidates in the Salt Lake City, UT area within commuting distance of our South Salt Lake City headquarters.

Job Description:

The Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring PDQ adheres to all applicable IT focused legal and regulatory requirements across our organization. You will leverage your understanding of legal guidelines and corporate governance to prevent or correct non-conformity issues and identify risk. This role will closely collaborate with leadership across the organization, including Finance, Revenue, Product, Engineering, People Operations, as well as PDQ's external counsel, to create, monitor and enforce IT focused regulatory programs.

What you'll be doing:

  • Developing and maintaining policies and procedures: Ensuring the organization's security policies and procedures are up to date and comply with industry regulations, standards, and laws.
  • Conducting audits: Conducting internal cybersecurity and privacy framework audits.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate cyber security risk using industry-standard frameworks (SOC2 / ISO27001 etc).
  • Providing reporting support: Supporting development of security and non-compliance reporting for senior leadership.
  • Reviewing contractual documents: Reviewing security clauses in customer or third-party contractual documents.

We're looking for people who have:

  • 4+ years of experience in compliance management of information security
  • Security certification highly preferred
  • Knowledge of IT security strategies, IT audit and risk management principles and practices
  • Proven experience in developing and managing compliance programs and risk assessments
