Position Summary

We have a great opportunity for a talented individual to join our HR Data & Reporting team in York as a Data & Compliance Specialist. To act as a market point of contact in HR Services for our HR Data & to handle our HR data compliantly, deliver accurate HR data on request and support with HR Compliance related topics, working alongside the HR functions.

A day in the life of a Data & Compliance Specialist

You will provide an excellent and flawless support service to line managers, employees and HR colleagues. Working flexibly across HR Data & Compliance topics, you will build strong links with customers, key stakeholders and HR colleagues, taking full ownership for cases. You will draw on your Data & Compliance knowledge and experience, to deliver high levels of service, accuracy and prioritisation whilst managing a busy workload. Taking the lead on several important areas within the function to ensure that the team is fully supported to deliver our legal/compliance/data requirements and to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities will include:
  • Collaborating with our internal and external stakeholders to arrange & seamlessly support across our HR CARE and NIA Audits, as well as supporting on other Nestle Audits where required. Delivering data and supporting with queries as required.
  • Managing the DSAR process alongside our market Data Protection Officer.
  • Managing the Conflict of interest process
  • Collaborating with the business to minimise Data Breaches
  • Provide the business with HR Data on a reoccurring or adhoc basis, utilising both SAP and SF reporting & supporting the self serve model where appropriate
  • Keeping up to date on external changes in order to propose and support the implementation of updates required to remain compliant and externally focused on best practice
  • Collating and providing HR Data for external data collection
  • Answering queries relating to HR Data and Compliance, ensuring cases are escalated through the correct channels.
  • Communicating with a large range of stakeholders across the business
  • Provide support and input into relevant projects within the wider HR Services team as appropriate
  • Lead and support improvement projects, acting as the HR Data and Compliance representative to deliver change and improvement activities in line with our improvement plan
What will make you successful?

The ideal candidate will be someone looking to continue to develop and enhance their HR Data & Compliance knowledge. Be proactive and self-motivated and have good working knowledge of current legislation. The ability to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You'll be highly organised and methodical in your approach with excellent attention to detail. You will be confident in taking the lead on complex queries, sometimes with senior stakeholders and with a tight deadline.

  • PowerBi knowledge would be desirable
