Job summary
We are a growing, rapidlydeveloping, dynamic, patient-focused provider of a wide range (outpatients,Talking Therapies and primary care) of services for the NHS. The Governance and Compliance Administratorprovides support to the DHC Governance and Compliance Manager and ServiceManagers to help ensure the delivery of both excellent standards in safe andeffective services and the expectations of the DHC Governance Framework. Thisincludes the development and implementation of effective incident managementand complaints systems, monitoring the implementation of recommendations anddissemination of lessons learned.
The post holder provides effective administrativeactivities and processes relating to clinical governance, quality assurance andCare Quality Commission compliance within DHC services. Supporting and participating in allgovernance meetings including DHC wide and service specific. Assisting with document control and policyrevision and accessing and maintaining records on RADAR and TEAMNET.
Working in a small team within theDHC Head Office team based at Holmhurst Medical Centre in Redhill, Surrey, theGovernance and Compliance Administrator reports to the Governance andCompliance Manager who in turn reports to DHCs Chief Executive Officer and theMedical Director.
Main duties of the job
As our Governance andCompliance Administrator, you are a key member of the governance and supportgeneral administration functions. You will assist the Governance and ComplianceManager in defining governance processes, facilitating discussions and advisingcolleagues on how best practices might be adopted, documenting those processesas they are agreed upon, and seeing them through to delivery to ensure we offerthe highest quality care to our patients, consultants, and teams.
