What you'll be doing
- Continually develop and implement the EMI's compliance strategy in line with Luxembourg and EU regulations (e.g., PSD2, AMLD, GDPR, CSSF); aligning these with the group compliance framework & organisation goals.
- As the Head of Compliance / MLRO for our European Head Office, you will act as the primary liaison with the (CSSF) to oversee licensing & regulatory reporting obligations as well as other relevant regulatory bodies, the board and Senior Leadership as relevant.
- In your capacity as MLRO, you will maintain the incident register and develop policies around new
- Together with global departments, design and implement robust local Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Financing of Terrorism (CFT) programs through conducting regular risk assessments and ensuring adequate CDD & EDD procedures are in place.
- Coordinating internal & external compliance audits
- Policy development & training as well as compliance/ regulatory training to staff to foster a culture of Compliance & Competency across the business
- Ensure third-party vendors and partners comply with regulatory requirements by conducting periodic compliance reviews of outsourced activities and critical service providers.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 4-6 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably within an EMI, financial institution, or regulated entity.
- Excellent knowledge of Luxembourg and EU regulations, including PSD2, AML/CFT directives, GDPR, and CSSF circulars.
- Experience liaising with the CSSF and/or other regulatory authorities.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or equivalent are a plus.
- Language requirements: English is our working language for internal communications across locations, however proficiency in French, German or Luxembourgish is an advantage.
