Job Description

The Leasing Compliance Manager is responsible for managing the marketing and leasing of all vacant and coming soon homes to minimize days vacant and ensure a positive prospect experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.

Manage Resident Experience/Reputation Management
  • Support all team members to resolve prospect escalations as they arise and ensure a positive prospect experience
  • Assist with Reputation Management - help prepare social media, Google, BBB, Survey explanations & reach out to prospects for resolution
  • Manage SWOTs to include daily review and timely update with details through resolution of initial concern
  • Review of VoC Prospect Surveys to ensure any reported concerns are resolved in a timely manner
  • Provide weekly reports to Operations Manager-Leasing
Manage Marketing/Leasing
  • Provide support to Leasing Consultants
  • Support Operations Manager-Leasing weekly team meeting with Leasing Consultants to gather feedback on pricing, home condition, lead conversation and help remove obstacles and provide support to ensure team is effectively managing leads and leasing homes
  • Work collaboratively with other departments and with Centralized team leaders to ensure all team timelines, expectations, standards and goals are met
  • Regularly monitor Tricon and other relevant websites to ensure accurate pricing, lists of amenities, accessibility for self-tours, and presence of photos for all available homes
  • Review necessary reports/dashboards daily to verify no variances are present and monitor leasing progress
  • Comp homes as necessary for Manager to determine if price adjustments are needed
  • Stay abreast of all HOA rules and leasing restrictions for vacant and coming soon homes
  • Assist with acquisition information as needed (pricing, amenities, etc.)
Manage Resident Compliance
  • Review and update utility information for all vacant and coming soon homes
  • Assist with process to manage Compliance violations to include lease, HOA and Code Enforcement violations
  • Assist with process to ensure unauthorized occupants are managed appropriately
Other
  • Demonstrate knowledge of, and remain compliant with all Tricon Residential policies, rules, and regulations to ensure compliance with Fair Housing
  • Complete requirements for Dispositions and Occupied Acquisitions
Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Basic accounting and math skills
  • Initiate collaboration with others
  • Knowledge of Yardi preferred
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior property management experience
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Basic financial acumen
