Job Description

The Risk Reporting and Governance Manager will be responsible for managing the delivery of risk reporting to key Management and Board Committees. In addition, the Manager will work closely with the Head of Risk Reporting and Governance to support the ongoing development and maintenance of risk framework and policy documents.

To place the interests of customers at the centre of all activities, act in a way that is consistent with achieving good outcomes for consumers; and to comply with the FCA and PRA's Conduct Rules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of second line risk reporting to Committees which provides consistent and informative information.
  • Support the Head of Risk Reporting and Governance with the review, updating and maintenance of enterprise-wide risk framework and policy documents.
  • Support the ongoing development and maintenance of Operational Risk standards and guidance, including alignment of methodologies to the risk system.
  • Oversee the review and maintenance of key operational risk indictors, including the process for collation and reporting.
  • Support the operational risk scenario analysis process, including the planning, facilitation of workshops and production of analysis and reporting.
  • Represent the Risk Reporting and Governance team at business meetings and working groups.
  • Provide support and guidance to team members, enabling a collaborative working environment.
  • Build relationships with the wider Risk team and key business stakeholders to support the embedding of the AL risk management framework and associated reporting.
Risk:

  • Responsible for managing risks inherent to the role by diligently observing internal policies and procedures.
Key Interfaces:

  • Chief Risk Officer and MLRO and Enterprise Risk
  • Managers and team members within the Chief Risk Office (Risk, Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime)
  • Risk managers within the wider business
Person Specification

Knowledge/Experience/Skills:

  • Substantial experience in the ability to design and produce accurate and insightful risk reports for Committees, Senior Management and business stakeholders.
  • Detailed understanding and experience of developing and maintaining Risk Frameworks and supporting documents.
  • Substantial experience of risk management within a 1LOD or 2LOD role.
  • An analytical mind and an excellent eye for detail with a methodical approach.
  • Highly developed IT skills, especially Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel (intermediate).
  • Enthusiastic and able to demonstrate a positive and flexible approach, including the providing of support and guidance to other team members.
  • Self-motivated and driven to learn and develop.
