What You Will Do:
- Contribute to building regulatory compliance in the areas of pensions services;
- Assess, oversee, and challenge governance, processes and controls designed and implemented by the first line to manage compliance risk in the assigned investment, conduct or data protection areas;
- Identify, assess, monitor and report compliance risks and controls in the assigned areas of responsibilityand assess their impact to the organization;
- Collaborate with other Luminor Group units to manage identified compliance gaps, issues and risks and follow up on implementation of the remediation action plans and Compliance recommendations;
- Provide advice and guidance or trainings with respect to the regulatory requirements applicable to investment, conduct or data protection areas;
- Supervise and control the outsourced functions to Group Compliance;
- Oversee various regulatory and compliance projects in the assigned areas;
- Ensure quality of the Compliance activities so they meet external and internal regulatory requirements and supervisory expectations, are complete, accurate, timely and communicated to the right audience;
- Securing fluent communication with respective supervisory authorities in designated areas.
- Good awareness of Baltic and European regulatory requirements related to banking and financial services in general, including high commitment to keeping yourself pro-actively updated on upcoming regulatory changes in the assigned areas
- Extensive knowledge of the bank products and services, processes, internal controls and IT systems
- 2+ years of ex perience in compliance risk management
- Stakeholder management skills
- Analytical thinking and ability to make decisions quickly with thoroughness, accuracy and accountability
- Cooperation skills, including ability to work in a team and take the team lead's role
- Higher education in Law, Finance, Economics or related field
- Fluent English and Estonian languages are required in spoken and written communication
- Flexibility.Flexible working hours, remote work and a possibility to work from anywhere in the EU, Iceland, Switzerland and the UK (in total 90 days per year)
