Job Description: This temporary position, lasting for a fixed period of three months, will play a key role in ensuring the renewal of subcontractor compliance documentation. Compliance Administrator - Fixed Term 3 Months

HSEQ Compliance Auditor Department: HSEQ Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Peninsula House (South West Water HQ) Compensation: GBP 35,000 - GBP 40,000 / year Description As a HSEQ Compliance Auditor, you will be part of a central HSEQ Team with responsibility for one of our regional contracts reporting to the Senior HSEQ Advisor. You will be responsible for promoting compliance throughout the business and for escalating all issues identified. You will also be responsible for ensuring employees are made aware of issues raised and for promoting document control and system compliance. Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Maintain detailed and accurate audit documentation and compliance registers.</li><li>Track audit actions and ensure close-out in a timely and effective manner.</li><li>Produce reports for internal governance</li><li>Ensure that safety and compliance standards are maintained, and any issues are addressed immediately</li><li>Complete verification inspections - follow up on closure of findings/non-conformances</li><li>Support the accident and incident investigations, and promote good quality reporting and closure</li><li>Complete and encourage unsafe acts/conditions and positive intervention reporting</li><li>Complete a weekly and monthly report on achievements and issues identified</li><li>Communicate and drive an efficient close out of corrective actions raised by the Compliance Department and external auditors</li><li>Compile Accident/Incident Stats for the contracts your support and attend client meetings</li><li>Work with the wider operational team to maintain strong relationships and improve processes/systems where possible</li><li>Drive the correct and safe behaviours out on-site and within the office</li><li>Support the contract on training and competency requirements, ensuring that the contracts are achieving the highest standards of training compliance</li><li>You will assist the Quality Assurance Lead with accreditations and provide support where required, with standards, including but not limited to ISO45001, ISO9001, ISO14001 etc</li><li>Support the business with delivering the milestone and strategy plan on contract</li><li>Evolve within the business and be willing to learn more about the products / services that we provide. </li></ul>Experience and Qualifications <ul><li>H&amp;S qualification (essential) e.g. NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent)</li><li>EUSR Water Hygiene (desirable)</li><li>EUSR Shea Water (desirable)</li><li>IOSH Managing Safely (Desirable)</li><li>Experience of having worked in the Utilities or Construction sectors (desirable)</li><li>Full UK Driving License</li></ul>Salary and Benefits We offer a competitive salary based on experience along with a full benefits package.
