Company Description Job Description The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) enriches the environment and protects public health for all New Yorkers by providing 1.1 billion gallons of high-quality drinking water, managing wastewater and stormwater, and reducing air, noise, and hazardous materials pollution. DEP is the largest combined municipal water and wastewater utility in the country, with nearly 6,000 employees. In addition, ACCO staff manages agency compliance with vendor performance evaluations, MWBE participation goals, opportunities and requirements, prevailing wage, labor law compliance and vendor management. ACCO processes hundreds of both large and small contracts and thousands of payment transactions procuring about $2 billion in contracts annually. The ACCO consists of ten (10) organizational groups: Competitive Sealed Bids, Procurement Administration, Technology Development &amp; Innovation, Contract Administration, Contract Compliance and Opportunities, Purchasing Management, Payments &amp; Accounting, Contracts Review and Negotiations, Large Payments and Accounting Management, and the Process Optimization &amp; Change Management group. The Office of Contract Compliance &amp; Opportunities oversees different contract compliance areas including: - Contract Opportunities: Enforcing Minority/Women Owned Business Enterprises and Locally Based Enterprise (MBE/WBE/LBE) program requirements as per NYC Local 1 and the State Revolving Fund. This approval request must also be submitted in the NYC's Payee Information Portal (PIP) system. - Prevailing Wage Unit: This unit assures that all contractors and subcontractors working for DEP are paying prevailing wages as required under sections 220 and 230 of the New York State Labor Law or Davis Bacon. Construction titles have specific wages and benefits that must be paid by contractors on public works contracts. There are also prevailing wages and benefits under section 230 of the New York State Labor Law. DEP Sign-in sheets and Certified Payroll reports are required for all construction contractors and building service contractors on DEP projects. The candidate selected will be responsible for: For all upcoming procurements, work one on one with the different operating Bureaus within DEP to determine the best procurement method to utilize in order to maximize M/WBE Opportunities. Analyze contracts subject to the M/WBE program to ensure compliance by vendors. Including reviewing Quarterly M/WBE reports submitted by vendors, payments to subs are entered in the Payee Information Portal PIP, proof of payments to M/WBE subs. Assist prime contractors with any M/WBE issues. This will include working with Small Business Services to locate potential M/WBE subs to work on specific projects. Assist M/WBE subs with any contracting issues such as ensuring prompt payment by Primes. Actively participate in the implementation/administration of special initiatives to increase M/WBE participation including mentorship, manufacture training for M/WBE's and other outreach programs. Develop and implement agency tracking and reporting documents for presentation to the Bureau Heads and others; prepares power point and other presentations for internal and external entities. Represent the Agency at meetings and outreach events at City / State oversight agencies. Qualifications 1. The NERC Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with NERC CIP (Critical Infrastructure Protection) and other regulations related to IT systems and processes. NERC CIP Compliance Analyst

HANAC, Inc. - originally founded by George Douris as the Hellenic American Neighborhood Action Committee - is a New York City-based multi-faceted social services organization. The organization was founded in 1972 to serve the needs of vulnerable populations throughout New York City. The Occupancy Compliance Specialist is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of affordable residential units. The Occupancy Compliance Specialist works closely with the Director of Property Management to ensure overall day-to-day Compliance operations of properties, which includes the supervision of the compliance specialist team functions and ensuring each property's compliance with all and any applicable program regulations.
