Job Purpose and Summary As part of the Canon EMEA Governance, Risk Management, &amp; Compliance team, you will be an engaging and driven individual, helping the team with the development and implementation of the new Compliance Framework across the EMEA organisation. In addition to this, you will support on related Governance and Risk Management activities where these overlap. Previous experience of working in a Risk &amp; Compliance Function within a large organisation is essential. Human Resources Risk & Compliance Analyst

Peak Living is currently seeking a qualified DUAL SITE Compliance Specialist to join our growing team! At Peak Living, our employees love where they work. Under the direct supervision of the Director of Compliance, the Compliance Specialist will perform all duties as outlined below for such programs as Project Based Section 8, Rural Development, Low Income Housing Tax Credit, HUD (Project Based Section 8), and other programs or projects owned or managed. The full time role will be split between our Meadowview + Lakeview properties. Duties and Responsibilities: <ul><li>Keeps current on all updates and changes in affordable housing programs and requirements.</li><li>Assures that Property Operations personnel receive clear and concise written interpretations of changes.</li><li>Responds to compliance-related questions from Regional Managers, Area Managers, Site staff and any other company officers.</li><li>Performs necessary on-site file property audits/setting up new property files/training personnel/continuing education classes in various states, as needed. Travel may be required for this position.</li><li>Prepare a compliance audit report and submit to Director of Compliance within 15-30-days of completing on-site audit. A written report will be necessary immediately upon returning to the office if the purpose of the audit was to prepare the property for a state or federal scheduled audit.</li><li>Assist in the Conducting of Acquisition File Reviews when requested.</li><li>Work with Director of Compliance to develop action plans for non-compliant properties and assist in working with Regional Manager to implement</li><li>Provide orientation and training to property managers.
