Senior Compliance Analyst

Overview Interstate Waste Services is the most progressive and innovative provider of solid waste and recycling services in the country! This position will ensure the Sales, Customer Service, IT, Data, HR, Marketing, Legal and Risk teams maintain cross-functional compliance with all NYC Local Laws, Rules, Regulations and Contract Requirements established for the NYC Commercial Wate Zones Program. Duties will also include analyzing data, preparing required reports and providing requested data to stake holders and the NYC Department of Sanitation. Essential Job Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned. <ul><li>Partners with and ensures IWS stake holders understand required business practices needed to remain in compliance with NYC Commercial Waste Zone rules and regulations, including ensuring cross-functional activities between departments are coordinated and compliant with CWZ contract.</li><li>Serves as subject matter expert for all CWZ rules and regulations including interpreting and training IWS Stakeholders on CWZ contract requirements.</li><li>Monitors CWZ contract and implements rules and guidelines for staying in compliance.
