Overview The Sr. Compliance Specialist is responsible for the support to the Compliance of AIT's compliance programs and practices within the European region, in particular customs compliance to ensure that the organization complies with transportation and trade related regulatory requirements and internal company policies. Responsibilities <ul><li>Manage, train and coordinate the execution of the customs compliance program as set out by the Sr. Compliance leadership, by gathering compliance metrics, monitoring the execution of audits, advising with government inspections and investigations, and executing compliance training. </li><li>Ownership to manage a customs compliance audit plan, that is aligned with the Global Compliance strategy.</li><li>Support the Sr. Compliance Manager to develop and execute the compliance program, continue education, and promotion of AIT's compliance strategy across local stations.</li><li>Identify changes in EU regulation and advise in changes policies and/or procedures as a result of these changes.</li><li>Support the Sr. Compliance manager Europe to roll out compliance audits, policies, procedures, and internal controls by training local staff </li><li>Gather, analyse and share the Key Performance Indicators with the local operational stakeholders to track and improve performance in areas of compliance and corporate policy.</li><li>Lead internal meetings with local compliance staff to support the continuous improvement of the customs services provided by analyzing audit results, advising on countermeasures and suggest improvements to the organization.</li><li>Be the first point of escalation in the EU to compliance questions regarding sanctions, controlled exports and customs.</li><li>Build and manage productive relationships with each branch's leadership team by providing guidance on customs related activities and opportunities.</li><li>Support the local compliance teams with their Internal control program (AO/IC, AEO) and supervise the annual self assessment process.</li><li>Be a front runner to identify compliance risks and report these to the Sr. Compliance Manager Europe.</li><li>Support the region in the roll out of and adherence to Compliance related projects and policies.</li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>7+ years of relevant and notable work experience as customs agent and/or customs specialist.</li><li>3+ years in executing customs consultancy &amp; compliancy services, such as(but not limited to) Internal Auditing, product classification, AEO framework assessments, preferential trade agreement advise trajectory.</li><li>Completed education "Customs broker" (Declarant douane), extended with further in-depth educations such as "Coordinator Customs &amp; Trade Compliance", or "Expert customs affairs" (Expert douanezaken).</li></ul>What AIT Can Offer You In addition to a competitive salary and benefits package, we offer great programs for our employees. About the Role The Lead Governance, Risk, and Compliance Analyst works with cross-functional stakeholders to identify/manage the security &amp; privacy risks and establish governance and compliance processes across our organization. This role is hands-on but also keeps a broader view on creating processes and policies that align with, and enhance, the AW growth strategy. This specific role is responsible for leading, building and managing any new security certifications Arctic Wolf's (AW) may wish to obtain such as CMMC, Cyber Essentials, PCI DSS, FedRAMP &amp; StateRAMP. This entails working collaboratively across teams to shape AW's information security program to ensure that AW protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of AW's customer &amp; internal data and that management, operational, and technical security controls are implemented across all products and solutions in accordance with compliance standards underlying the external certifications/attestations. Responsibilities <ul><li>Plan, execute, and report on various types of Security/Privacy GRC reviews, including post-remediation validations</li><li>Conduct ongoing risk assessments and assist in developing and executing a dynamic risk assurance plan to address high-risk areas</li><li>Lead improvements and design of innovative industry-wide compliance and controls across the Organization</li><li>Lead compliance related change management initiatives within the Team and across the Organization</li><li>Lead handling complex issues with internal auditors and/or external regulators</li><li>Craft and communicate effective data-driven reporting and updates to influence decisions and outcomes internally</li><li>Develop and maintain tight coordination with various AW cross-functional teams</li><li>Develops and implements an effective new certifications program that leverages National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), CMMC, Federal &amp; State Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP/StateRAMP), and other applicable regulatory/industry standards, policies and regulations (e.g., NIST 800-137, NIST 800-53, 800-37 and 800-39)</li><li>Works closely with internal AW teams to ensure timely delivery of controls, periodic compliance artifacts and assisting various teams with meeting required compliance requirements, milestones and objectives in support of obtaining and ongoing maintenance of the certifications/attestations.</li><li>Develops reports and briefings for leadership as it relates to identified and in-progress certifications.</li><li>Analyzes and validates the information collection and reporting process required by each certifying body and provides recommendations to integrate and automate continuous monitoring efforts and the corresponding reports.</li><li>Trains and formally hands off maintenance of each certification program to internal compliance team and facilitates the maintenance of common controls that can be used to satisfy multiple certification requirements.</li><li>Facilitates and executes all certification related internal and external assessment/audit efforts.</li><li>Acts as the subject matter expert for AW on various security certifications and provides advisory services to various AW teams as needed.</li></ul>Who You Are <ul><li>Must have demonstrable experience in both building and operating CMMC, FedRAMP/StateRamp certification programs.
