About the Position Reporting to the VP, Senior Compliance Manager, the Conduct Risk Manager will provide support to the UK Monitoring and Compliance functions in a wide variety of areas. You will be part of the Legal, Regulatory &amp; Compliance team work closely with the Delegated Authority and Claims teams, as well as Underwriters. Key Responsibilities <ul><li>To have responsibility for the performing of product risk assessments for the syndicate's portfolio;</li><li>To be responsible for monitoring key regulatory developments relating to Conduct Risk and managing any impact to the syndicate;</li><li>To assist with maintaining and enhancing the Conduct Risk Framework in place;</li><li>To prepare, develop and enhance Conduct Risk Management Information;</li><li>To have responsibility for Complaints handling for the syndicate;</li><li>To provide training to the business and Senior Management on Conduct Risk;</li><li>To act as a Customer Champion within the syndicate and work closely with Underwriting, Claims, Legal and other functions to consider customer outcomes;</li><li>To prepare the Annual Consumer Duty report for the Board;</li><li>To have ownership of the Lloyd's Insurance Company Secondee processes in place for the syndicate;</li><li>To act as the Secretary to the Customer Review Committee and maintain papers and minutes;</li><li>To work closely with the Delegated Authority team and manage queries and referrals relating to Conduct Risk, the Insurance Distribution Directive, Licensing and general queries relating to binding authorities.</li></ul>Candidate Qualifications: <ul><li>Strong knowledge of Lloyd's, Lloyd's Insurance Company requirements relating to Conduct Risk and the Consumer Duty.</li><li>Strong knowledge and experience of binding authorities and delegated claims administrators.</li><li>Strong and relevant experience working within a Compliance or Conduct Risk team in a Managing Agent or a UK insurer.</li></ul>Leadership Competencies &amp; Values: <ul><li>Impact: Sets objectives, delivers results, and implements policies/operational targets with direct impact on the department or individual work outcomes</li><li>Execution: Proactively identifies resources, actions and timelines needed to achieve objectives, effectively balancing tactical pressures with broader implications and downstream impact</li><li>Communication: Shares relevant information in a timely manner with stakeholders and conveys points of view in a way that influences opinions and demonstrates flexibility</li><li>Client and solutions focus: Identifies process and service opportunities that enhance the external and internal client experience and outcomes</li><li>Innovation: Stretches self and others to think differently and innovatively, drawing upon multiple sources for ideas and inspiration</li><li>Learning mindset: Seeks out and explores new assignments, exposure, or challenges in order to enhance technical skills</li><li>Values: Exemplifies and champions RenaissanceRe's core values of Focus, Respect, Integrity, Precision, Passion</li></ul>We believe that meeting these requirements will position you for success in the role.
