JOB TITLE: Human Resources &amp; I-9 Compliance Specialist JOB PURPOSE: Under general supervision, assist the designated Human Resources unit by coordinating and implementing activities related to the University's I-9, onboarding, and work authorization compliance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul> <li>Provide high level of customer service by assisting employees and managers with various HR inquiries.</li> <li>Provide front desk assistance to walk-in, phone, and email customers. Direct customers to the specific HR units of specialty.</li> <li>Primary contact in I-9 completion, processing and compliance.</li> <li>Provide policy review, data validation, data entry and business process review and approvals in various HR systems. </li> <li>Maintain a variety of tracking spreadsheets. Enter/modify a variety of employment data for I9s, Visas, background check systems, and in the HCM application.</li> <li>Generate and reconcile a variety of reports, queries, and research.</li> <li>Help customers troubleshoot, system, application, and other issues.</li> <li>Advise supervisors and stakeholders by providing information and details on compliance. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance &amp; Olympic Sports in running the day-to-day operations of the compliance unit.
