This role will support the Senior Credit Risk Manager (2nd line of defence) to provide oversight of end-to-end credit risk activities across all Tandem lending products - 1st and 2nd charge mortgages, secured motor loans, home improvement loans and personal loans. The Portfolio Credit Risk team sits within Credit Risk and ultimately the Risk &amp; Compliance function. The Portfolio Credit Risk team deliverables include - driving credit committee agenda, oversight of credit risk lending policies, driving the 2nd line credit risk assurance agenda and review &amp; challenge of proposals from 1st line ensuring changes to credit risk policy are in line with agreed risk appetite. As a Regulatory Compliance Manager you'll be supporting the delivery of all day-to-day duties concerning the regulated market(s) assigned to you and general business requirements, including ensuring that Betway meets its reporting obligations. About your role Reporting to the Head of Change and Operations sitting within the wider operational team the Audit Compliance Officer supports Sayer Vincent in its delivery of a high-quality service by assisting the technical (audit) teams with adherence to Quality, Auditing and Ethical standards. Some of the key aspects of the role are: <ul><li>Ensure that the firm's technical team comply with and enhance our existing system of our Quality Management.</li><li>Performing key audit quality monitoring activities and updating the monitoring and evaluation calendar.</li><li>Reporting results from monitoring activities to the Leadership Team</li><li>Perform root cause analysis on issues identified during Quality Review activities and determine which output actions are required, such as technical training or audit process changes.</li><li>Produce quarterly monitoring reports for review and sign off by the Technical Partner</li><li>Chair Technical Group and coordinate internal technical training updates, agreeing topics and liaising with SMEs to deliver training</li><li>Encourage the adoption and implementation of new systems, new technology &amp; drive the continuous improvement of practices, procedures and controls already in place</li><li>Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all key stakeholders, including team, clients and Partners</li></ul>This role is not limited to the above-mentioned tasks. About you You will need to understand the fundamentals of accounting, compliance and training to be successful within this role.
