Company Description Job Description About the Agency: The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) is the nation's largest municipal housing preservation and development agency. Its mission is to promote quality housing and diverse, thriving neighborhoods for New Yorkers through loan and development programs for new affordable housing, preservation of the affordability of the existing housing stock, enforcement of housing quality standards, and education programs for tenants and building owners. Job Description: Reporting to the First Deputy Commissioner, the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) will lead the Office of Compliance &amp; Risk Management (CRM), a new Office within HPD that the CCO will have the unique opportunity to help to build and expand. When fully staffed, this Office will centralize various compliance, oversight, and hearing functions from across the agency critical to ensuring fairness, consistency, and equity in both our external and internal engagement. It will also create the policies and procedures that establish the governing framework for meeting agency obligations. JOB SUMMARY: The Sustainability and Compliance Specialist II is responsible for supporting and executing sustainability and environmental initiatives for American Textile Company. This role will assist in meeting compliance and sustainability reporting requirements, including surveys, assessments, and audits across all ATC facilities and retail partners.
