Join our Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) team - be a vital pillar for financial integrity, providing comprehensive accounting solutions, and helping businesses to maneuver through complex compliance obligations.
The opportunity
As a member of EY Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) team, you'll be at the forefront of advancing financial transparency, spearheading competent accounting practices, and guiding organizations to meet their regulatory commitments.
Your key responsibilities
- Supervise and review the recurring statutory reporting, tax compliance and management/group reporting preparation services for the clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions. Act as a point of contact for clients on compliance and reporting matters.
- Manage the team, organize and delegate the tasks to the senior and junior consultants. Counseling, appraisal and motivation of the senior consultants and assistant consultants.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Identify potential fiscal risks and opportunities, consult with the Partners and communicate these to the management of the clients.
- Ensure the compliance of the activities performed with the EY Quality & Risk Management Procedures as well as the Independence Requirements applicable.
- Ensure the efficiency of the engagements and completion of the annual budgets.
- Identify new sales opportunities, proposal preparation and presentations to potential clients in coordination with the Partners.
- Possibility to get involved in other internal initiatives (for example, recruiting process, team development, efficiency topics).
- Extensive experience in accounting, reporting and tax compliance.
- Leadership experience in an international environment.
- Organizational skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Client relationship management.
- Fluent in Lithuanian and English languages.
