Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, snowmobiles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the Contract Lifecycle Management process for a $2B revenue business.
• Direct a team of non-attorney professionals in the management of Textron's Global Anticorruption Compliance Program, and Federal, State, and Municipal Contracts.
• Provide advice to TSV's General Counsel concerning compliance matters including but not limited to the Foreign Corrupt Practice Act, the Federal Acquisition Regulation, and other regulations related to Anti-Money Laundering, Know-Your-Customer Due Diligence, and International Trade.
• Draft, edit, and review commercial contracts (non-disclosure, consulting, software licensing, product pricing, distribution, and various sales and services agreements).
• Conduct or manage internal investigations.
• Work with internal stakeholders to address legal aspects, including Corporate Governance, Business Licensing, and related issues, about the sale and distribution of TSV products.
• Create standard operating procedures and direct continuous improvement projects for all of the above.
• Foster talent development by supporting career path planning, management of performance objectives, engagement, training, and onboarding of new hires.
• Contributes to a culture of respect, dignity, and inclusion, where everyone feels heard, understood, empowered, and valued.
Qualifications:
• Education: Juris doctorate or LLM required; preferably paired with an undergraduate or advanced degree n computer science, library sciences, business, commercial transactions, international affairs, or similar field. State bar Membership in any state within the U.S., Georgia preferred.
• Years of Experience: 6+ years of prior experience, either at a law firm, in-house, or a combination.
• Experience managing small teams.
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience drafting and reviewing contractual agreements.
• Experience with the USG acquisition process, including the FARS and DFARs.
• Knowledge or experience in automotive, power sports, outdoor power equipment, or agricultural equipment manufacturing, and materials handling.
• Experience managing outside counsel and advising clients in the manufacturing sector.
• Experience with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, trade compliance matters, internal investigations, or employment matters.
