We're looking for an Audit & Compliance Officer to join our apprenticeships team on a 12-month FTC in our office in Manchester.

As an Audit & Compliance Officer you will be supporting all audit and compliance elements of government-funded Apprenticeships within the Academy. You will be responsible for reviewing learner eligibility, auditing / compiling paperwork in a manner compliant to ESFA requirements and supporting the team with EPA and compliance related activities

Our Team

Our team consists of four members who focus on data and compliance, providing essential support to a broader team of 40+ staff at Bauer Academy. We handle various data requests from the team while ensuring that the operations of Bauer Academy are smooth and fully compliant with relevant government regulations.

This is a Hybrid role that supports a balance of working from home and our office in Manchester.

What you'll be doing
  • Audit and track of enrolment paperwork for new apprenticeship programmes.
  • Support compiling audit lists and completing monthly audits.
  • Screening/processing of apprenticeship application forms.
  • Supporting all data and compliance elements of Apprenticeship programmes.
  • Creating and sending Employer / line manager welcome packs.
  • Capture and share learner information within Bauer Academy.
  • Support the preparation of paperwork for any ESFA audits and/or Ofsted inspections.
  • Post vacancies on the government portal for external clients.

  • Experience of working in training and education with
  • knowledge of data and compliance standards within apprenticeships.
  • Organised with great attention to detail.
  • Strong sense of initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and strong customer service skills.
  • Highly collaborative, with good inter-personal skills.
