What role will you play?

As a Business Operational Risk Manager, you will play a crucial role in embedding the risk management framework across the Risk Management Group's divisions. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the risks inherent as our global Line 2 risk function, advising on and challenging the effectiveness of mitigating controls. Additionally, you will support incident and issue management, partner with wider Risk Management Group divisions to ensure clear understanding of their role in operational risk management, and facilitate risk and control self assessments.
What you offer

- Experience within non-financial risk, operational risk management, or a similar discipline
- Tertiary education in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
- Strong analytical skills and ability to draw out insights
- Good attention to detail together with excellent organisation & coordination skills
- Exceptional stakeholder management and clear communication skills
About the Risk Management Group

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie's material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
