Key Accountabilities:
- Implementation and Management:
Implement and maintain a comprehensive compliance programme, ensuring that adequate procedures are in place to mitigate financial crime risks. - Advisory and Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with internal and external business stakeholders, including the project Compliance Working Group, to identify and assess financial crime risks, agreeing on recommendations and mitigating actions. - Third Party Risk Management:
Manage third-party risk, conducting risk assessments and due diligence. Ensure third parties comply with contractual obligations related to anti-bribery, AML, sanctions, and trade controls.
Work closely with Legal and other functions within Vodafone and with consortium partners to review and advise on anti-bribery, AML, sanctions, and trade control clauses in contracts. - Training and Awareness:
Design and deliver tailored training programmes for employees and third parties to enhance compliance awareness. - Assurance and Monitoring:
Conduct audit and assurance activities for third parties and manage Vodafone's annual external audits.
Oversee active monitoring of relevant transactions and maintain thorough records for all entities associated with Vodafone's projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Sound understanding of anti-corruption legislation, including the UK Bribery Act and FCPA. Proven expertise in providing Anti-bribery subject matter guidance. Strong knowledge of sanctions, trade controls, and AML issues.
- Risk Management: Proficient in assessing and mitigating financial crime risks through effective monitoring strategies.
- Compliance Frameworks: Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing comprehensive compliance programmes and policies, including delivering training.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven capacity to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
- Pro-active and Motivated: Self-motivated, reliable, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
- Experience in a compliance role is essential.
- A Compliance and Ethics qualification (e.g., ICA, SCCE) is desirable.

- Discretionary yearly bonus: 10%
