We are currently seeking an exceptional professional to join us as Chemical Compliance Specialist (12 months fixed-term contract)

Responsibilities

As a Chemical Compliance Specialist, you will handle communication obligations for a global chemical distributor. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Ensuring hazardous chemicals placed on the EU market are compliant with CLP regulations,
  • Production of GHS-compliant SDSs and labels,
  • Ensuring PCN requirements are met for all applicable chemicals,
  • Gathering data from suppliers,
  • Store and maintain existing databases: supplier tracker, declaration database and customer requests,
  • Supporting ad-hoc customer chemical compliance requests,
  • Supporting with other regulations.
Requirements

  • Science/Chemical Degree or equivalent,
  • Experience to Poison Centre to CLP (Art.) 45 - Annex (VIII) requirements,
  • Experience with Safety Data Sheet authoring,
  • Other regulatory experience will be an advantage,
  • Project management skills,
  • Good communication skills (experience in communicating with customers/suppliers),
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills,
  • Very good English (B2 or higher),
  • Good MS Excel skills
  • Willingness to work full-time on a fixed-term contract (12 months)
