About the role

Key details:

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm, 37.5 hours per week
  • Wage: £6.40 per hour
  • Location: JNHG, Fairground Way, WS1 4NU
  • Apprenticeship Standard: Level 3 Business Administration
  • Duration: 16 months
Overview of the role

JN Recruitment are currently looking for a Compliance Administrator to join our Compliance team. You will oversee candidate checks and ensure candidates are Schedule 2 compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completing application forms and ensuring they meet schedule 2 requirements.
  • Gathering information to complete all relevant forms and checks.
  • DBS (processing DBS', completing DBS check, obtaining DBS copies, and updating DBS)
  • Conduct relevant Training Checks
  • Carry out Proof of Address checks.
  • Gather References- this includes telephone and safeguarding verification.
  • Right to work checks.
Apprenticeship Summary:

  • You will work towards your Level 3 Business Administrator qualification across a total duration of 18 months!
  • Training provider: LMP Group: https://lmp-group.co.uk/
  • All online/remote learning, no classroom or college day release
  • An allocated tutor will support you throughout the apprenticeship!
About the Candidate

Skills & Personal Qualities Required:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise tasks based on importance and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident telephone manner with a familiarity of phone etiquette in a professional setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel & Outlook) and database management.
  • Proficiency with Google Sheets
  • Customer Service- deliver excellent customer service to or candidates and visitors, able to take calls with a range of stakeholders, forward messages and ensure actions are followed up.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
Qualifications Required:

  • GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4) essential
  • GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4) essential
Experience Required:

  • Experience in a role which involved administrative tasks is essential
Apprenticeship Overview

The role may involve working independently or as part of a team and will involve developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative services. Business administrators develop key skills and behaviours to support their own progression towards management responsibilities.
