Your opportunity
- Conducting detailed investigations, as well as preparing and issuing notifications for long, short, and takeover panel threshold crossings.
- Proactively scanning for and assessing regulatory changes related to Thresholds across various jurisdictions where Janus Henderson funds are invested and working with the vendor to update coded monitoring rules in the Charles River Development GSD Module (CRD GSD).
- Undertaking additional investigations and manual controls to augment CRD GSD based processes.
- Assessing the Threshold reporting requirements for new markets and facilitating the implementation of coded rules within CRD GSD for new jurisdictions.
- Supporting Threshold-related sections JHI level projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the Thresholds team's processes through improvements and automation.
- Developing and sustaining a positive and effective relationship with the CRD GSD coding team.
- Responding to external requests for positional data (Companies Act 2006 Section 793 and equivalent)

- The IMC or IAQ qualification is desirable although not essential.
- Familiarity with the European Transparency Directive and previous experience in issuing market disclosures for threshold crossings.
- Systems: Experience with a Regulatory Disclosures system (Charles River, STAR, FundApps) experience is preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Working experience in the key regulatory issues and rule areas impacting long, short and takeover threshold crossing disclosures.
- Products: Ideally experience across a range of product, instrument and fund types.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to exercise balanced judgment and decision making.
- Solid understanding of equity and fixed income securities and derivatives products required.
- High energy, positive demeanor, enthusiastic, professional, with a strong work ethic.
- Pro-active and self-sufficient with ability to escalate where appropriate. Highly self-motivated, possessing strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, influence and build relationships, and manage client expectations and competing priorities.
- Solid knowledge of fund management processes, instruments, products and funds.
- Understanding of current and proposed regulatory requirements impacting the Funds Management industry a plus.
- Good planning, prioritization, problem solving, and organizational skills are essential.
