About this position:

Responsible for supporting the administration of our Company-wide Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance Policies and Programs to mitigate risk and ensure optimum, documented compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Will coordinate and execute initiatives designed to further functional area compliance across all companies.

Responsibilities

> Facilitate implementation of policies, programs and internal controls to keep pace with regulatory requirements; maintain proper documentation of compliance-related activities; maintain Compliance Procedures Manual supporting strong compliance posture.

> Maintain in-depth knowledge of industry-related laws, regulations and other applicable regulatory compliance requirements for existing lines of business; respond to inquiries or requests for information.

> Monitor level of compliance with laws/regulations throughout Company and assess effectiveness of company-wide compliance efforts; report pertinent information to Director of Risk/Compliance.

> Oversee and document efforts directed at managing vendor relationships; Company's Incident Response Program and Company's Identity Theft Prevention Policy and Program. Provide administrative support for Company's Complaint Program.

> Assist with preparation and coordination of regulatory examinations.

> Conduct research on emerging compliance issues and recommend program enhancements based on existing and evolving regulatory requirements. Develop and coordinate compliance training programs.

> Develop and review of disclosures, forms, notices, procedures, brochures and advertisements for compliance with laws and regulations; coordinate with legal counsel, marketing, and other functional areas as appropriate.

> Manage, coach and counsel staff to meet department goals and achieve performance standards; encourage continuous improvement for career development.

Education/Certifications:

> Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required

> 6 years of compliance or related financial services experience required

> 2 years of supervisory experience preferred

Skills/Knowledge:

> Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal: comfortable communicating with customers, co-workers, and management

> Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to prioritize multiple tasks/projects to meet deadlines

> Independent thinker; flexible and willing to adapt; high level of integrity, ethics, and values

> Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Physical Demands

> Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and walk/stand for brief periods of time.

> Must be able to repetitively use a telephone and computer mouse and keyboard.

> Ability to lift/move up to 15 lbs.

The salary range for this position is $ 60,000- $80,000 commensurate with experience and education.

Additional compensation may be earned through the Company's annual bonus program, subject to individual and company performance.
