As our Compliance Manager you'll play a key role in ensuring the continued effective operations of Southern Co-op. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who can understand our business, develop sensible approaches and facilitate buy-in from colleagues and stakeholders.

This is a broad and varied role, if you haven't got experience in all these business areas, we will support you with the development you need.

What to expect..
  • Manage our Insurance Programme - Handle renewals and claims processes.
  • Oversee our Licensing operation to ensure we have the right licenses for our business.
  • Develop our Business Continuity framework.
  • Lead our Enterprise Risk Management to ensure risks reviewed, managed and communicated effectively.
  • Support the compliance monitoring for our FCA Regulated business.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders and departments across the organisation.
What we're looking for..
  • Experience in Enterprise Risk Management.
  • Experience in Business Continuity planning.
  • Familiar with Internal Audit and Compliance processes.
  • Experience of insurance policies, claims handling and loss adjusters.
  • Ability to develop and deliver plans to meet compliance needs.
  • Strong organisation and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and comfortable navigating IT systems.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
