The role is a hybrid role, therefore will involve a mix of working from home and from our Halifax office.

What will I be doing?
- Overall day to day management of the Compliance team
- To ensure all regulatory developments are identified, summarised, communicated to the appropriate business areas, assessed for impact, and tracked through to implementation
- To horizon scan and provide relevant summaries and support to ensure your business area is fully equipped to meet any regulatory requirements
- To co-ordinate and oversee Corporate regulatory initiatives that span multiple business areas, and work with the Compliance Business Partners to deliver them
- To provide Compliance advice and guidance to all lines of business on new products, new business opportunities, and changes to existing business relationships and changes to existing products
- To engage with all lines of business, including attendance at committees, to assist them in delivering regulatory compliance and fair customer outcomes
- Ensure adherence to the Compliance and Internal Controls policies
- To co-ordinate responses to FCA consultations, thematic work and routine enquiries
- To conduct and support 2nd line monitoring which supports your business area understand any risks or gaps that need to be addressed.
- Detailed knowledge of FCA regulation
- Excellent planning and organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
- Significant Compliance experience
- A very strong track record of delivery of compliance initiatives within the Financial Services sector
- Via relationship management, the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with management teams across the business.
- Compliance qualification or equivalent level of experience.
