Key Responsibilities
- Drive all aspects of the Compliance function with key framework roles and activities, focusing on one or more of the following key topics: Complaints Handling and supporting the Conduct Risk framework, Delegated Underwriting approvals, Data Protection, and Financial Crime framework duties.
- Collaborate cross-functionally in developing and overseeing assurance process.
- Conduct compliance reviews and action findings in a manner that harmonises compliance policies / frameworks and our strategic objectives.
- Participate in product oversight and governance work.
- Help drive data and technology to make better Compliance decisions within the team and across the business.
- Guide and develop more junior members of the team.
- Get involved and help drive strategic projects for the team and the business.
- Proven experience in a Compliance function for a regulated insurance entity.
- Inquisitive with a passion for learning and desire to always improve.
- Analytical mindset and robust attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, making decisions, while proving to be effective in stakeholder management.
- Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally, balancing collaboration and challenge.
- Robust team orientation; happy to pitch in.
