Position Summary
Under the direction of the Executive Director of Compliance & Privacy, the Compliance Manager is responsible for assisting in the implementation and ongoing management of the Medical Faculty Associates (MFA) Corporate Compliance Program with a specific focus on policies, procedures and guidance. As a part of the Department of Compliance, the Compliance Manager will provide integral support and coordination to the MFA's policy management functions assisting with the review, revision, and promulgation of Written Standards (policies, procedures, and guidance) for the clinical enterprise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- As a key member of the Department of Compliance, supports the Executive Director of Compliance & Privacy in the overall facilitation of the MFA's Corporate Compliance Program.
- Serve as system module administrator for the SAI360 (housed on SAI Global's SAI360 software platform) Policy Module and as a central resource for providing guidance and assistance on all aspects of the policy management process from drafting to completion.
- Review Written Standards to verify that they align with organizational mission, vision and strategic goals, with other existing Written Standards, and that the quality of the document (e.g., structure, format, style, tone, and language) complies with the organization's documentation standards.
- Monitor and ensure Written Standards and related documents remain in compliance with state and federal regulations and legislation.
- Liaise with departments, facilities, and subject matter experts to provide support regarding the organization's Written Standard's structure and content during the development of new or amendment of existing documents and provide feedback based on review.
- Facilitate and/or participate in meetings where Written Standards are reviewed for clarity and consistency and/or approval (e.g., Policy Committee, etc.).
- Assist in the collection, analysis, and reporting of key metrics related to the Written Standards program to be reported to senior leadership and oversight groups;
- Assist the Executive Director of Compliance in review and maintenance of the corporate compliance program.
- Serve as a Liaison for the Executive Director in the triage and assist in the review of agreements and contracts requiring the review of the Department of Compliance
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
BA/BS or 5+ years relevant experience.
Experience
- Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
- Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) preferred
- Demonstrated track record of being able to communicate effectively with a variety of leaders, managers and staff.
- Demonstrated experience in overseeing projects, tasks and attention to detail required.
- Experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and web-based document posting required.
- Experience with SAI Global's SAI360 ideal.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people at various levels within and outside the Medical Faculty Associates (MFA).
- Must be able to write policies and procedures and guidance in an easily understood manner along with incorporating compliance and regulatory requirements into the documents.
- Ability to translate legal, regulatory, and operational requirements into understandable and applicable Written Standards.
- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
