We have an exciting new role for a Compliance Manager to join our Facilities Team!
You will be responsible for providing strategic and operational guidance this role will ensure our clubs are fit for purpose and fully compliant with all statutory, regulatory requirements ensuring good practice in relation to Fire Safety, Asbestos, Legionella, Gas safety, Electrical Safety, Stairlift and Passenger lifts and any future compliance streams that are identified.

The Role:
- Develop and deliver a robust compliance schedule across ensuring inspections and remedials are instructed, assessed and completed on time and within budget
- Ensure all statutory notification and reporting requirements are met. Provision of high-quality competent advice on compliance requirements and risk management
- Manage and develop the Compliance Co-Ordinator
- Develop clear compliance specifications, aligned to business risk appetite Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practices, consistent with internal standards and legislative requirements, business
- Create a scheduled audit framework and conduct regular internal audits and inspections to identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Oversee all certificates and accreditations in the annual renewal process.
- Maintain Compliance Risk Register.
- At least 3 years previous experience of directly managing broad compliance programs and producing adherence reporting
- Experience managing a compliance risk register and producing regular reports. - Strong Facilities compliance management knowledge
- Can positively challenge to bring out the best in others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders through the organisation.
- Is a trouble shooter and has a solution orientated approach, and will get involved in the detail to address challenges.
