This position is to support the Senior Compliance Manager in driving the Council's success in meeting its statutory health and safety obligations as a responsibly landlord whilst continuously striving to improve the safety of its residents, properties, compliance, and stock condition.

As a leader of a small professional team delivering a technical asbestos service, your role will be pivotal in providing senior management with assurance that known asbestos containing materials within its residential stock is being effectively managed.

You will be expected to ensure and assure robust programs and plans with effective monitoring and management of your team and contractors. These programmes and plans will be based on accurate stock data and information, with key performance indicators tailored to deliver results for all parties.

This position plays a crucial role in the delivery of management surveys, reinspection's, on-going management, and removal of asbestos containing materials, and an acceptable level of demonstrable compliance, that will require quality data and evidence to support all related activities.

Your role will be to keep the Council at the forefront of industry standards by delivering a high-quality asset management service and contributing to a culture of trust, by creating a working environment that is supportive and high performing.
