As a Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring our company's adherence to relevant laws and regulations. Your attention to detail and expertise will help us maintain a compliant culture, minimising risks and safeguarding sensitive data. Collaborating with various departments, you will implement robust security policies, conduct risk assessments, and train employees on security best practices.

As a Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring our company's adherence to relevant laws and regulations. Collaborating with various departments, you will implement robust security policies, conduct risk assessments, and train employees on security best practices.
Responsibilities
Customer and Sales Prospect Compliance Support
- Act as the main point of contact for compliance-related questions from sales prospects and customers, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Complete questionnaires, RFPs, DDQs and RFIs for Sales prospects, maintaining a library of relevant answers.
- Manage and develop compliance policies, processes, and training programs.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to internal controls, laws and regulations (e.g., data privacy, ). Identifying and assessing risks and suggesting improvements.
- Ensure the company complies with industry-specific standards and regulations, such as GDPR, ISO27001, SOC2.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and advise leadership on the implications for the company's operations.
- Communicate updates to internal teams about compliance obligations and act as the key point of contact for compliance queries.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Maintain documentation of all compliance activities, audit reports, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
- Evaluate and monitor compliance of third-party vendors, contractors, and partners to ensure they align with the company's compliance standards.
- Conduct due diligence and regular assessments of vendor agreements to mitigate any compliance risks.
- Experience in compliance or a related role within a financial technology setting.
- Investment management or SaaS industry experience is beneficial.
- Knowledge of risk management and developing mitigation strategies.
- Familiarity with IT compliance frameworks.
- Understanding of data privacy laws including GDPR.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- Relevant qualifications/certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or similar are an advantage.
