Overseeing compliance management and operations, including client onboarding, vendor risk, investigations, and training for this professional services firm's London office.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise junior compliance staff
  • Execute efficient and effective client onboarding
  • Provide advice on compliance and regulatory issues
  • Support internal compliance investigations
  • Deliver internal training to promote compliance awareness
  • Vendor risk management, including onboarding of new suppliers
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes, assess business impact, update policies
  • Implement compliance process, system, and control enhancements
  • Lead or support compliance-related projects.
Profile:
  • 4-8 years' of professional experience
  • At least 2 years working in a professional services (audit, legal) firm's internal compliance function.
  • Experience in AML/CTF regulations, CDD, KYC, and onboarding, conflicts of interests checks.
  • Knowledge of risks affecting professional services firms such as vendor risk, data privacy/protection,
  • Experience with databases/portals such as World-Check and Factiva.
  • First class presentation suited to a professional services firm environment.
