Direct Medics is currently seeking a dedicated Compliance Officer to join our team and work alongside the compliance team in Healthcare recruitment. This role will focus on maintaining and completing compliance across various healthcare services, ensuring that all candidates meet applicable standards and backchecks. The Compliance Officer will collaborate with different departments, assess compliance risks, and conduct internal audits.

Requirements

Essential

Educated to 'A' Level (or equivalent)

One years' previous experience in an administrative role

A solid background and understanding of providing outstanding customer service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong appreciation of teamwork to achieve team objectives
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and independently
Desirable:

Experience with processing Right to Work documents including visas

Experience with Criminal Record checks eg Access NI, Garda, DBS or PVG
  • Working knowledge of the medical recruitment market, locum process or the healthcare system in the UK and/or Ireland
  • Experience working in an environment with regulatory, legal and ethical considerations
  • Experience working to and exceeding Key Performance Indicators
  • Self-motivated and committed to self-development
Ideally the first two desirable would be key to have but mindful that it is an entry level role so potentially wouldn't be feasible!
