About The Service
The Statutory Compliance Team offers an inspection service for Cardiff Council's non-domestic property portfolio, conducting both cyclical and remedial works. These works focus on high-risk areas such as Electrical, Gas, Fire, and Water Management, alongside a variety of other disciplines.
We ensure that all tasks are scheduled effectively using the information stored in our RAMIS software system, which tracks ongoing compliance. To support this, we work closely with a framework contractor who manages inspections and remedial work through a network of approved sub-contractors.
About the job
As a member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planned and remedial works for Cardiff's non-domestic property portfolio. This includes collaborating with the framework contractor and property site managers, while ensuring the RAMIS system is kept up to date and accurately maintained.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain efficient systems that ensure the achievement of statutory compliance for properties.
What We Are Looking For From You
A highly organised and motivated individual with strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritising effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with both customers and team members.
