Are you an organised, proactive individual with a passion for ensuring efficiency and accuracy? Southern Housing is looking for a Compliance Officer to provide essential support to our Compliance Managers and help maintain the highest standards across our operations.
In this dynamic role, you'll work collaboratively with our team to handle administrative tasks, arrange access for inspections, address resident queries, and manage data entry, ensuring all information is accurately maintained within Apex and other systems.
The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with 2 days on-site at our Croydon office and 3 days working from home, providing you with flexibility and a great work-life balance.
The successful candidate for this role must have a full clean UK licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.

What you'll need
- Experience of working within Asset Management or Compliance service, especially within a social housing environment.
- Understanding of Compliance areas and requirements on housing organisations.
- Experience of performance-based management through KPI's in a customer focused environment.
- Experience of managing and analysing large data sets and ensuring taking responsibility for quality compliance data.
- Understanding of good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with tenants, external agencies, and tenants' associations, both verbally and in writing. Numerate, with good analytical skills.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and other information, and to produce management reports.
