Business Compliance
The duties include but are not limited to:
  • Monitors school programs, budget data, assessments, and evaluations of non-public schools and non-profit organizations that receive federal funds.
  • Completes bi-monthly monitoring checklists, distributes/retrieves quarterly review reports, and completes budget reports for Neglected, Delinquent, and Titles I, II, IV, and V.
  • Assists in writing and monitoring Non-Public Schools/Agency plans and budgets.
  • Monitors Federal documentation files with an emphasis on use of funds.
  • Collects data and statistics on all students in agencies when they transition back to their home school or employment or when they receive a GED or graduate from high school.
  • Designs, constructs, and accesses budget reports for State and Federal requirements.
  • Assists in collecting pre and post test data to assess the rate of progress at each site.
  • Completes other assignments as deemed necessary by the Program Manager for Non-Public Schools and Agencies.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have BS/BA Degree (Organizational Management preferred) from a regionally accredited college or university.

Must be knowledgeable of the following computer programs: Word, Excel, Outlook, or equivalent word processing software.

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must be able to demonstrate leadership qualities.

Must have at least three (3) to five (5) years of experience in school and/or business community or some combination of both.

Must have official college transcript on file prior to application deadline indicating the degree earned.

SALARY: $48,723.00

**Applicants selected for classified positions must undergo (or have undergone) an ABI/FBI criminal history background check (fingerprinting administered through sites selected and approved by the MCPSS and State of Alabama Education Department) and be declared suitable and fit to teach under state law. Applicants selected must also pass a drug-screening test via forms provided by Human Resources during the selection process.**
