Are you an experienced Compliance Officer with excellent knowledge of legislative and regulatory body requirements and understanding of Employment Businesses and Employment Agencies? If so, join Elysium Healthcare as the UK wide Compliance Officer (Agency Auditor) and help support our services to maintain the highest standards of quality.

You will be committed to ensuring rigorous review of quality monitoring dashboards in addition to sourcing and formatting data into accessible formats for submission to external stakeholders such as NHS England, local Clinical Commissioning Groups and other organisations tasked with monitoring the quality of care in our services.

You will be maintaining high quality in all areas of practice including effective team working; using a range of different approaches including, evidence-based practice, guidelines, legislation, protocols, procedures, policies, standards and systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Improving services in the interests of the service users, carers and the organisation informed by current best practice guidance.
  • Contributing to the development of others during ongoing work activities using through structured approaches (e.g. training and support for agencies) and/or informal and ad hoc methods (such as enabling people to solve arising problems and appropriate guidance).
  • Understanding and executing external audit functions, assessing risks and compliance needs related to temporary workforce supply
  • Conducting audits of operational processes, ensuring alignment with policies, frameworks and regulations specific to the role and industry
  • Documenting findings, communicate results, complete audit reports and provide actionable recommendations for improvements
  • Monitoring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies across the organisation.
  • Reviewing concerns, suspicious activity Reports, and support suppliers with general compliance queries
  • Collaborating in policy development and ensure documentation is up to date
  • Conducting risk assessments and perform control testing to mitigate vulnerabilities
  • Investigate compliance breaches, identify root causes, and track the resolution of issues
To be successful as a Compliance Officer, you'll need:

  • Relevant experience of working in a similar high-compliance environment.
  • Sound knowledge of the relevant legislative and regulatory body requirements (e.g. CQC, HIW, CIW and Ofsted)
  • Understanding of Employment Businesses and Employment Agencies
  • Knowledge and understanding of risk management strategies
  • Experience in undertaking external audits
  • Demonstrate communication skills of a high level including written and verbal communication, ability to listen and summarise and presentation skills
  • Experience in analysing clinical information and creating reports for internal/external stakeholders
  • Basic understating of IR35 Rules
  • Experience of working with stakeholders and demonstrated ability to effectively deliver key messages to these stakeholders and appropriately influence
  • Experience of working autonomously and able to make sound decisions
