We are seeking a Compliance Officer to join our team at 3SMoney in the Netherlands. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors and Management based in Luxembourg, the Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that our Dutch operations adhere to all regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies. This role is crucial in safeguarding the integrity and reputation of 3SMoney as we expand our presence in the Netherlands.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that 3S Money's operations in the Netherlands comply with all relevant Dutch and EU regulations, including AML and CTF requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them in collaboration with the management team.
  • Reporting: Provide regular compliance reports to the Board of Directors and Management in Luxembourg and act as the primary point of contact for Dutch regulatory authorities.
  • Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver compliance training programs to employees, promoting a culture of compliance throughout the organisation.
  • Internal Investigations: Conduct internal investigations into compliance breaches, recommend corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records and ensure that all documentation is audit-ready.
About You, you have
  • A bachelor's degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field (a master's degree or professional certification such as CAMS or ICA is preferred).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance role within the financial services industry, preferably within an EMI or similar institution.
  • In-depth knowledge of Dutch and EU financial regulations, including AML/CTF requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess and manage compliance risks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with regulators and senior management.
  • A high level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
