The opportunity
The Compliance Senior Manager will support the UK Regulatory Practice Director and UK Head of Regulatory Compliance in assisting the ongoing improvement and minimisation of regulatory risk. The individual will be part of a wider UK and Azets Group Risk and Compliance team and will have the benefit of support and consultation, where necessary with that wider team.

The opportunity
The Compliance Senior Manager will support the UK Regulatory Practice Director and UK Head of Regulatory Compliance in assisting the ongoing improvement and minimisation of regulatory risk. The individual will be part of a wider UK and Azets Group Risk and Compliance team and will have the benefit of support and consultation, where necessary with that wider team.
Day to day duties
- Act as a point of consultation for ethical and regulatory queries
- Act as a point of consultation for letter of engagement queries
- Support the Firm's regulatory functions and the evolution thereof
- Support all UK team's interaction with Regulatory functions
- Collaborate with service lines and functions to ensure sound regulatory and compliance risk management
- Support processes for consistent Practice quality and regulatory processes in the UK
- Ad hoc project work
- An awareness of and practical experience in the areas of AML / Investment Business / Practice Assurance / Client Money Regulations pre requisite with good working knowledge of FCA regulations
- Sound understanding of Regulatory Bodies and their requirements
- A proactive problem solver, self motivated with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience in FCA / ICAEW /ICAS /ACCA / CAI regulated firm
- Strong communication and advisory skills - to disseminate complex requirements to business in understandable way
- Honed organisational skills together with an Analytical approach to challenges
- Ability to influence/persuade/negotiate at all levels of the business including Team peers
- Project management skills / ability to deliver to deadlines
- Comfortable in a data enabled environment
- Experience in Audit not necessary but is advantageous.
