Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with the FCA regulations, UK laws, and international standards related to electronic money and payment services.
- Stay updated on changes in legislation and industry best practices, ensuring timely implementation of new regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports to the FCA and other relevant authorities as required.
- Develop, review, and update internal compliance policies and procedures to ensure alignment with current regulations.
- Working closely with responsible departments, develop, review, and update internal Company`s policies and procedures to ensure alignment with current regulations
- Conduct regular internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of compliance controls and recommend improvements.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks across the business.
- Maintain and update the company's risk assessment framework in line with regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct regular training sessions for employees on compliance topics, including AML, data protection, and regulatory changes.
- Foster a culture of compliance within the organization.
- Manage whistleblowing procedures to ensure employees can report concerns confidentially.
- Investigate and resolve compliance-related issues and complaints.
- Proven experience in a compliance role, preferably within an EMI or financial services company.
- Strong knowledge of FCA regulations, the UK Modern Slavery Act, AML/CFT regulations, and GDPR.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) to liaise with regulatory bodies and internal teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ICA, ACAMS) are a plus.
