Purpose and Summary:

A Compliance Specialist serves as one of the primary employees that are responsible for completing new and renewed support documents while contacting clients for quarterly progress reports under the Office of Developmental Disabilities Services (ODDS) Compass Project as a Standard Model Agency. Additionally, the Compliance Specialist will have direct contact with Case Managers within Brokerages and Counties departments of ODDS for reporting purposes.

Organizational Responsibilities:

  1. Having enthusiasm and commitment to their clients and the community at large.
  2. Develop and maintain respectful, cooperative working relationships that contribute to the integrated seamless delivery of services, families, community, and Essential Services LLC administrative team.
  3. Understanding their role and responsibility in maintaining a safe workplace and reducing all workplace injuries.
  4. Ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and safekeeping of agency records.
  5. Acting in accordance with relevant legislation and Essential Services LLC's policies, standards, and procedures.


Minimum qualifications:

  1. Must be at least 21 years of age.
  2. Successfully completed a DHS criminal history check.
  3. Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
  4. Able to communicate with clients and employees through SMS, email, phone calls, and in person.
  5. Proficiency with computers and software programs such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Fill & Sign, Adobe PDF Programs, Internet Explorer, Windows, phone-based applications, and E-mail correspondence.
  6. Ability to follow instructions and work independently, exercise good judgment, and prioritize daily tasks.
  7. Ability to work as a member of a team and work within the policies and procedures and the vision, mission and core values established by Essential Services LLC.
  8. Having no substantiated abuse or neglect findings against them by DHS, CDDP or other city, county, or state authority.
  9. Holding a valid driver's license and appropriate levels of auto insurance if driving as part of job duties.


Job Type: Full-Time

Pay scale: $4,000 per month.
