As YouGov's Compliance Specialist - Insurance & Risk, you'll partner directly with the Head of Compliance to uphold the highest standards in our risk management procedures and drive our global insurance program. Regrettably, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship, so you must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis.

Here's a breakdown of what you'll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):
  • Insurance
    • Manage insurance renewal data collation
    • Manage insurance claims administration
    • Administration of insurance certificates for clients
    • Responsible for presenting company information to insurers
    • Primary contact for insurance broker relationships
    • Providing responses to contractual queries on insurance
    • Proactively notify brokers and insurers on business changes
  • Risk
    • Support risk management process, including risk interviews
    • Comms with risk sponsors, risk owners and wider business on risk management
    • Support updates to risk register and mitigating controls
    • Enable updates to process in response to business changes.
  • Overall Compliance Support
    • Suggest improvements to processes
    • Support development of compliance training (e.g. risk management awareness) as required to the global business
    • Promote and enforce compliance processes globally
    • Answer ad hoc queries on compliance matters
    • Horizon scanning for regulatory changes in region & updating legislation tracker
    • Ad hoc support for Head of Compliance and Compliance Manager
These are the essential you will need to get an interview:
  • 3-5 years demonstrable experience in managing all aspects of a global insurance programme for a large company including working with brokers, underwriters, claims handlers and loss adjusters
  • Possess an understanding of the obligations on the insured under the Insurance Act 2015 (UK)
  • Experienced in risk management projects including managing risk and assessing likelihood and impact.
  • Proven ability to deliver and maintain a comprehensive risk register
  • Experience horizon scanning for legislative and regulatory changes
  • Excellent IT skills and open to finding new tech solutions to increase efficiency
It would be great if you had these too, but we'll support you if you don't:
  • Experience working in a compliance team in a non- regulated company
