What your days will look like
In your role as Corporate Tax Compliance | Senior Manager, you are responsible for overseeing a portfolio of clients, ensuring adherence to UK tax regulations and standards.
You will manage complex tax compliance projects, identifying tax planning opportunities, and mitigating risks. Leading a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and mentoring while ensuring high-quality deliverables. You will also collaborate with other PwC teams to deliver integrated services, staying updated on tax legislation changes and their implications for clients.

What your days will look like
In your role as Corporate Tax Compliance | Senior Manager, you are responsible for overseeing a portfolio of clients, ensuring adherence to UK tax regulations and standards.
You will manage complex tax compliance projects, identifying tax planning opportunities, and mitigating risks. Leading a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and mentoring while ensuring high-quality deliverables. You will also collaborate with other PwC teams to deliver integrated services, staying updated on tax legislation changes and their implications for clients.
- Client management : Engaging with clients to understand their tax needs, providing strategic advice, and ensuring satisfaction with PwC's services.
- Leadership of large teams and senior stakeholder management
- Technical Analysis: Staying abreast of changes in tax legislation and regulations, assessing their impact on clients, and advising on necessary adjustments.
- Collaboration: Working with other PwC departments, to provide integrated services and holistic solutions to clients and participate in initiatives to attract new clients/expand services to existing clients
- Must possess a tax professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ATT, CTA, ACCA (or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country.
- UK corporate tax knowledge including:ability to review UK tax computations and tax accounting, group reporting calculations and disclosures for accuracy, completeness and identify broader opportunities and risks for the client.
- Your experience includes sound accounting knowledge and the ability to interpret statutory accounts.
- You have leadership experience with senior stakeholders both internally and externally, including building and maintaining relationships within large teams
- A highly developed client service ethos and ability to adopt a flexible approach to meeting client needs.
- Proven experience in identifying opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the tax compliance process through technology and innovative practices.
