We are seeking an experienced professional from the Financial Services industry to join our Risk team as Credit Risk Manager.
In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and managing credit and fraud risk across Verifone's portfolio of merchants and products. You will also lead and mentor a Credit Analyst, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Credit Operations, overseeing the performance of the credit portfolio to ensure alignment with Verifone's defined risk appetite
- Drive operational excellence by strengthening credit underwriting, fraud monitoring, and collections frameworks across the organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance credit and fraud risk management, support the development of new credit products, and continuously improve related policies, processes, and procedures
- Coach and educate teams across the Verifone Group on industry best practices in credit and fraud risk management
- Act as the primary point of contact for all first-line credit and fraud-related inquiries and escalations
- Contribute to the development and delivery of internal training programs focused on fraud and credit risk, working closely with training and first-line teams to ensure effective implementation
- Design and implement a robust control framework for Verifone Payments entities, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation across all credit-related activities
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Credit and Fraud Risk management
- Proven experience working within regulated payment services and acquiring environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly analytical, with exceptional attention to detail and data-driven decision-making skills
- Deep understanding of credit risk framework design and implementation, ensuring scalability, effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory standards
- A hands-on, action-oriented approach with a passion for driving results
- Motivation to shape the future of payments in a global, established organization with a strong presence in the UK/EU market
- Trusted escalation point for complex risk management issues, demonstrating sound judgment and problem-solving capabilities
