The Credit Risk Manager is required to take full responsibility for Red Bull UK's accounts receivable management, maximizing incoming cash receipts and continually looking to optimise the order-to-cash cycle with a progressive and solutions-focused mindset.
This role involves overseeing the Accounts Receivable team, implementing effective credit policies in line with Red Bull HQ, and optimizing cash flow while minimizing bad debt. - Order-To-Cash
Define, influence, and lead a right-first-time process mentality, challenging existing ways of working and standard operating procedures. Drive and lead process design and continuous improvement opportunities, identifying actionable insights to support team efficiencies. Work closely with the Operations teams to ensure order processing efficiency and accuracy, with a total OTC ownership mindset. Engage local and HQ stakeholders to recommend system improvements, innovations, and enhancements across the Treasury & Finance organisations. Hands-on approach and inquisitive nature. - Credit Risk & Accounts Receivable Management
Support the Treasury Manager and Financial Accounting team by owning and redefining month-end reporting obligations & responsibilities. With a hands-on approach, maximize cash collection and mitigate bad debt exposure within our customer portfolio. Create regular insights and assessments on the credit risk exposure of Red Bull's customer portfolio, providing recommendations to mitigate any exposure. Engage and develop relationships with Key Account teams and customer contacts, driving efficiencies and challenging existing ways of working throughout the OTC cycle. Ensure the accuracy and cleanliness of Red Bull's sales ledger by creating SOPs and standardized routines across the team to deliver DSO and Net High Risk targets. Oversee the internal rebate approval process, ensuring on-time invoice approvals and balance sheet cleanliness, engaging with key internal stakeholders to improve ways of working and processes. - People Management
Take full responsibility for the performance monitoring of the team, defining short, medium, and long-term operational goals, and owning monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance appraisals.
You will be responsible for the team's KPIs and deliverables, creating an environment of progression and innovation, and crafting bespoke performance objectives and personal development plans while always keeping the team's brand in mind.
Define, manage, and review the roles & responsibilities of the team, always ensuring an appropriately resourced and engaged team is in place.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- CIMA/ACCA/AAT/CICM qualifications a plus but Red Bull also values experience over formal education.
- Strong experience in accounts receivable or credit management, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Proven track record of managing a high-volume receivables portfolio and leading a professional team in a dynamic environment. Change management experience is a plus.
- A solid understanding of financial accounting and reporting.
- Experience with SAP ERP systems and OTC process enhancements and optimisations. Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products.
- Demonstrated success in maximising incoming cash receipts and improving accounts receivable processes, reducing days sales outstanding (DSO), and other KPIs in the FMCG or retail space.
- Sound commercial understanding and curiosity about the wider business and development opportunities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to effectively communicate information verbally, in writing, and with graphical tools as necessary.
- Analytical, with an eye for detail and capable of working quickly to a high standard of accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritising one's own work and the work of the team in an organised and accurate manner within tight deadlines, while remaining calm and focused.
- Be enthusiastic and versatile, and be able to build, develop, and maintain good working relationships with colleagues.
