Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity within our Finance team at DTN! We are seeking an EMEA Compliance Analyst. As the Compliance Analyst you are dedicated to resolving complex tax compliance and accounting matters, using quick problem-solving skills and tight-knit collaboration with finance and non-finance teams.
This role is part of the global tax organization and is crucial in aligning with VAT and corporate income tax regulations, accounting for income and VAT taxes, and meeting compliance requirements for statutory filings.

Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity within our Finance team at DTN! We are seeking an EMEA Compliance Analyst. As the Compliance Analyst you are dedicated to resolving complex tax compliance and accounting matters, using quick problem-solving skills and tight-knit collaboration with finance and non-finance teams.
This role is part of the global tax organization and is crucial in aligning with VAT and corporate income tax regulations, accounting for income and VAT taxes, and meeting compliance requirements for statutory filings.
What will you be responsible for:
- Primary Owner of VAT, income tax, and statutory -related audits and, if necessary, working with the global tax team on preparing an audit defense strategy.
- Responding to ad-hoc VAT-related questions from local authorities and other departments.
- Ensuring compliance with VAT and income tax requirements in countries in scope and timely and accurate filings of VAT and income tax returns, as well as VAT-related and statutory reporting.
- Leveraging positive relationships with other teams, as well as external providers, to support compliance processes and make process improvements.
- Ensuring adherence of processes to the company's policies and procedures, internal and external audit requirements and local rules and regulations. Supporting the strengthening of financial processes and controls.
- Supporting local, regional, and global projects, as the need arises; provide financial expertise in such projects.
- Maintaining focus on continuous process improvement.
- Finance professional with proven experience in a multinational environment.
- Finance/Accounting or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA.
- Good knowledge of IFRS, VAT rules and regulations, and working knowledge of corporate income tax.
- A solid understanding of Vertex, Salesforce, and Workday is an advantage.
- Proactive communication and approach with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Solution-oriented.
- Strong influencing skills and confidence in providing advice and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent organization & project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong report writing skills and the ability to tailor such to the required audience ensuring both accuracy and clarity.
