- Overall responsibility for ensuring 100% compliance always of Mitie related activities, and where necessary highlight any risks or concerns relating to compliance on the risk or concerns logs
- Responsible for all technical root cause analysis for technical activities
- Assist with the asset management strategy and delivery of asset maintenance, assisting in lifecycle management responsible under the Mitie contract
- Overall responsibility for the planning and coordination of the technical service delivery
- Assist with the SHE and GxP compliance for all relevant statutory and regulatory obligations
- Responsible for ensuring competency and performance of all 3 rd party technical suppliers
- Responsible for 3 rd party supplier management, including but not limited to supplier quality, performance and setting in a programme and running local supplier monthly reviews. Where required work with Mitie's procurement lead on central meetings and initiatives
- Responsible for approving all 3 rd party supplier risk assessments and method statement.
- Ownership and assessment of 3 rd party supplier technical PPM reports with the ability to ascertain what remedial works are required, and challenge the 3 rd party supplier where required
- Responsible for writing of all Engineering Change Controls for Mitie related activities, working with the team experts for input
- Responsible for owning the EWP process for Mitie, working with the technical supervisors where required to ensure they are in place and correctly closed.
- Ensure NCR's are investigated, quality root cause analysis performed and smart CAPA's implemented to drive an improved service
- Keep accurate legionella L8 records for 3 rd party supplier(s)
- Carry out regular technical audits and self-inspections to ensuring we are always audit ready. Attending audits when needed.
- Keep accurate filling for Gas Safe records and review on a regular basis to ensure they remain up to date
- Support the Technical Operations Manager in management of the concerns and risk logs
- Ensure the critical spares and Mitie equipment registers are updated by the Technical Administrator on a regular basis and that a clear process is in place for managing and ordering spares.
- Understand the financial budgets associated with the technical services, seeking opportunities for cost avoidance and cost savings through self-delivery.
- Use available reporting tools such as Teams, Power Bi, Mozaic to ensure technical compliance is achieved with adherence to the contract KPI's and SLA's
- Responsible for ensuring 3 rd party suppliers have completed all PPM's, corrective and remedial works within the agreed SLA's
- Assisting with building maintenance, permits to work, risk assessments and accurate asset information
- Responsible for ensuring the main duties of the Technical Coordinator and Technical Administrator are achieved.
- Seek opportunities for driving performance and improving SLA's and KPI's for all technical related activities
- Manage and own local risk assessments and local SOP's
- Act as the Mitie site Energy and Sustainability Champion for technical services
- Deputise for the Technical Operations Manager as required
- Respond to any emergency calls in and out of hours as required
- Strong leader and coordinator of engineering maintenance
