We are looking for a Farm Compliance Manager (Temporary) to join our Team.
The Farm Compliance Manager ensures that all farm sites adhere to industry and company standards in hygiene, biosecurity, flock health, and operational efficiency. The role provides technical support, training, and compliance monitoring to farmers, ensuring optimal poultry management practices.

We are looking for a Farm Compliance Manager (Temporary) to join our Team.
The Farm Compliance Manager ensures that all farm sites adhere to industry and company standards in hygiene, biosecurity, flock health, and operational efficiency. The role provides technical support, training, and compliance monitoring to farmers, ensuring optimal poultry management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provision of Technical Guidance to Farmers
- Advise farmers on poultry house equipment operation and flock management programs.
- Provide guidance on culling and flock health status.
- Facilitate training for farmers as required.
- Deliver feedback on factory-related issues such as downgrades, contamination, and growth performance.
- Ensure protective clothing is provided and used correctly.
- Oversee the placement and usage of bait points and poison for pest control.
- Verify that foot dips and visitor logs are maintained properly.
- Conduct swab assessments and advise growers accordingly.
- Conduct farm surveys to evaluate compliance with company standards.
- Report non-conformances and escalate significant issues to management.
- Ensure timely submission of farm assessments for financial processing.
- Perform gas readings and salmonella testing.
- Investigate health concerns within flocks and implement corrective measures.
- Conduct additional health-related tests when necessary.
- Ensure farmers update records on the web-based system regularly.
- Monitor factory weight requirements and assist farmers in weight forecasting.
- Investigate site mortality issues and report excessive losses.
- Conduct timely farm audits to meet customer and legislative requirements.
- Adhere to company health and safety regulations.
- Educate farmers on workplace safety practices.
- Report any health and safety failures to management.
- Maintain site hygiene and safety standards at all times.
- Ensure all required samples and trials are documented and reported.
- Maintain industry and company standards to allow for external audits at short notice.
- Completion of farm surveys and submission for payment processing.
- Pre-slaughter site swabbing completed.
- Timely reporting of non-compliance issues.
- Farm claims documented before payment deadlines.
- Monitoring of bird quality and farmer growing costs.
Essential:
- Minimum third-level qualification.
- At least six months of relevant experience.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Full valid driving license.
- Experience in people management and advisory roles.
- Computer literacy and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle livestock.
- Understanding of hygiene and biosecurity in poultry farming.
- Knowledge of key performance areas in broiler operations.
- Third-level qualification in agriculture or food-related studies.
- Familiarity with MTech farm management software.
- Work safely and follow company health and safety procedures.
- Use protective gear correctly and report any hazards or injuries.
- Assist in accident investigations and preventive measures.
- Maintain personal hygiene standards in compliance with company policies.
- Immediately report risks observed on farms to farmers and management.
- Follow safe systems of work and notify managers if untrained for any tasks assigned.
